The clientsProject will require 2 Server Engineers with a deep working knowledge of Windows 2003 Advanced Server including its&#8217; infrastructure installation, configuration and modification requirements associated with Windows-based blade servers. The Server Engineers will be responsible for the migration and maintenance of the clients Windows-based servers. The job activities, as they relate to the clients Project, involve the implementation and configuration of Windows clustering, design and implementation of backup procedures, installation and configuration of the Veritas backup solution, analysis of problems/situations, issue resolution, root cause analysis, performance and capacity management, system performance tuning as well as the use of system analysis and monitoring tools. Each Server Engineer should also possess an expert knowledge of Windows-based application administration, server security and maintenance, LDAP and Active Directory services. Some work may also be required involving Websphere on Windows, HACMP, Veritas Tape Backups and Tivoli. Solid documentation and presentation skills will also be required.<br />
Windows Systems Engineers:<br />
Business requirements gathering sessions with representatives of each organizational unit through a series of interviews.<br />
Develop functional and/or design specifications and technical documentation.<br />
Facilities/capacity and storage/backup planning for the two platform systems, Windows<br />
Design, develop, maintain, and support the Remedy (Windows) systems, in four environments - staging, development, production and disaster recovery; support add-ons and modifications to existing applications and/or architecture across the virtual and native Windows platforms.<br />
Through coordination with internal units, configure and tailor facilities/capacity/storage devices.<br />
Develop Planning/Run Book and training documents.<br />
Develop System and Technical Documentation for knowledge transfer for selected employees from internal units.<br />

<p>Statement of Work: Criminal Investigation (CI) receives a large volume of data sets from both internal and external sources and needs to improve its ability to explore these data sets to support investigations and other enforcement activities. The CI Investigative Data Analytics (IDA) project is chartered to provide the client with the ability to better leverage taxpayer, filing information and other internal and external data in support of law enforcement efforts in the area of income tax and related money laundering investigations as well as supporting anti-terrorism efforts will assist in the development of leads, intelligence, and the management of large volumes of financial transactions.</p>
<p>The eCrimes Environment (ECE) project will leverage emerging technologies to effectively preserve, store, and process seized digital evidence in forensically sound manners to support criminal investigations. In the future, it will provide a secure work environment featuring flexible connectivity, high capacity and scalable storage, and servers with remote access and interaction capabilities. This will better enable large volumes of seized electronic data to be stored, processed, analyzed, and managed without geographic or logistical constraints. Forensic analysis tools and other analytical software could be deployed more rapidly, and remote collaboration would be possible without physically reallocating staff resources.<br />
Provide process guidance, documentation preparation and stakeholder communication support for eCrimes Environment for its full lifecycle.</p>
<p>Duties:</p>
