SCOPE OF SERVICES
Deliverable: SQL, Dot Net, Java Developer for OFE
Under supervision, the consultant will provide the following services:
1. Provide formal recommendations on design specs for server infrastructure to support the OFE Application.
2. Planning, designing, architecture, installation, configuration, and ongoing operational administration of the database application including hardware and software.
3. Day-to-day administration of one or more Microsoft SQL Server systems and related software.
4. Evaluate and recommend management tools and other related software tools as required.
5. Programming and Designing Front-end aspects of the data base application
6. Design and Maintenance of the User Interface
7. Troubleshoot application and database issues and system slow-downs, monitor event logs, monitor disk and server utilization.
8. Configure and maintain database backup procedures, testing database restore capabilities; plan and implement disaster recovery procedures, ensure systems reliability, maximize uptime and react to anomalies of Mission Critical systems.
9. Data modeling and database design and support to improve efficiency.
10. Monitoring of databases to optimize performance, and resource, and making recommendations for database integration issues including data migration, maintenance, capacity planning, and new application support.
11. Monitoring and maintaining database and web application security
12. Maintaining the availability and integrity of application
13. Evaluating and recommending new procedures, software, and hardware in support of the
application
14. Providing ad-hoc reporting as requested
15. Producing and maintaining complete documentation of all work
16. Develop System and Technical Documentation for knowledge transfer for selected employees from internal units.
